Organized in 2008, BOTP is a traditional “British-style” brass band with personnel of over 30 professional and freelance musicians from around the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Its talent includes members of the premier bands from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force.
In addition to performances at the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival and Mid Atlantic Brass Band Festival, the band has competed live in the championship section of NABBA competitions on multiple occasions. BOTP is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization, performing full-scale concerts for schools, community arts venues and worship centers.
